One More Day......

Finally, I will reveal the new name for my creative project tomorrow morning over on my personal blog, and I will reveal the retirement date for this blog. I plan to reveal some more details in the next few days both here and on my personal blog. Looking forward to seeing what this next chapter holds. 

Back on Track

Due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic (and other personal issues), I have decided to postpone the relaunch of C2 Photography and Creative Media as a new creative project until January, primairly in an effort to obtain new equipment and get some creative material ready to go. Despite some recent setbacks, I am happy to report that have managed to get some things back on track. I anticipate beginning work on the new blog in the next few days, and I will unveil the new name of this project in the next few weeks. The plan is to begin work on the new website sometime in late August/early September in hopes for a launch in early January (or sooner, depending on how quickly things come together.)

While I am figuring things out, I will keep the current website updated until the new site launches. Once the new blog launches on WordPress, I will be updating that blog, and I will wind down this Blogger site at a date to be determined.

Update on My New Project

Hello Everyone,

I know that I was excited to announce the plans for my new creative project on July 6. However, due to circumstances beyond my control, I have decided to postpone the announcement of my new project indefinitely. In the meantime, I will be working on advancing my creative skills in anticipation of this new endeavor.

The End is Near

I would like to thank everyone for their interest in C2 Photography and Creative Media through out the last 4 years. With that said, I made the announcement that I was re-branding the project last night, as this project will no longer solely focus on photography and videos. Earlier this evening, I have chosen the new name for this project. I will officially reveal the new name on July 6, 2020. The new name will appear on the social media platforms shortly after this date. I will officially retire the C2 Photography and Creative Media moniker on June 30.

As for this blog, I have decided to move this over to WordPress, the home of my personal blog called Cunningham's Corner. In the long term, this should make my life a little easier going forward, as I only have to use one app to access both blogs. For now, my Blogger site will remain operational until the new blog launches later this summer. Once the new blog comes on line, this site will be taken offline permanently. 

That's all for now, but I look forward sharing some new photos and more creative material in the future. 

Big Changes Coming

Hello Everyone,

Recently, I have taken some time to re-evaluate some things with my life, and this side project was one of the things that was evaluated. After some careful thought, I have made the decision to restart this project with some major changes.

The first one is that the project will be getting a new name and website domain to better reflect the new direction of this project. The current website went offline earlier tonight to start the process of this change. I anticipate that this process will wrap up by the late June/early July at the latest. This blog will remain in operation until the new name is decided, and then I will shutter the Blogger site and relocate the blog to WordPress.

Once a new name is decided, I will move on to Phase 2, which is a redesign of the portfolio website. It will have a dynamic new look and showcase my creative work, not just photography. I will be upgrading my Adobe account once I acquire a new laptop to maximize my potential (i.e. new software). Some of the other software that I had used will be discontinued. As for the website, I hope to have the new site online later this year.

Finally, I am giving some consideration to an online storefront to sell some merchandise. This portion is in the early stages of development and will likely come sometime next year.

Big things are ahead, I look forward to seeing whats next. To that end, you can follow my personal blog for more updates

Back in Business

Hello Everyone,

First off,  my sincere apologies for the lack of activity here on the blog this last little bit, I have been battling headaches, sinus infections and fatigue over the last few weeks. However, I am now feeling better, so that means, it back to work for C2.

 

Earlier today, I have updated my Facebook, Twitter and Instagram accounts, with updates coming for Pinterest, Google Plus coming as soon as I finish my work here on the blog. I plan on some updates for the website sometime tomorrow.

 

In the mean time, I will be dusting off the camera in short order to start taking pictures (Next Tuesday at the earliest.) I will also be upgrading my editing capabilities on my laptop (the C2 tablet is ready to go)

C2 Photography and Creative Media

Plenty to be Thankful for.......

First off, Happy Thanksgiving to everyone out there.

Secondly, you may have noticed that I haven't been posting to social media of lately, but rest assured that I have not completely forgotten this project. I have recently acquired a tablet, which will become the mobile base of operation and photo editor. With that, I will be able to edit photos on the fly and post them to social media as soon as I get them ready. Now that it is almost ready to go, I should be back to editing and creating content shortly.

I have plenty of reasons to be thankful for, but most importantly to the people that have visited and reacted to the material I have posted so far.

I have plenty to look forward to as well (for example new baby polar bears at the Zoo, revisiting some places I have been, and going to places that I have not been to before), and getting a couple of pieces of new equipment as well.
